Dear Artists,
Our Art
Auction on
Friday, September
30th,
at Bubba’s Lakeside Bar and
Grill on Hwy 190 in Onalaska was a great success. Our Mayor, Clark
Evans, was our auctioneer, and did a great job. The
auction proceeds
have been donated to benefit the Polk Co.
Commerce/College Center auditorium.
Thanks to Bliss Weston, who urged
us to donate to the incoming college, and Sydney
Murphy's suggestion that we have an
auction fundraiser.

This
is a MUST
because we will start displaying them in the banks
and businesses. They will need to be numbered and
have a small write-up for each article and we will
do that.
I have some of them and will be able to pick
them up from you at your convenience.
The Committee consists of
Chairman, Art Kehler, 936 967-8542, Sydney Murphy,
936 327-0904, Rose West, 713 865-6416, Penny Uselton,
713 553-0962.
If you have any questions or suggestions,
please let me know. More information will come
later.
Just a reminder, our next meeting
will be on the 24th of October. Remembe
to pay your
dues so that you can enter your paintings
in our Fall Show on Nov.
5th.
We have new officers and they are eager to
keep us going. We are already working hard with
everyone doing a little, to see that this auction
will be a fun time in which we further our awareness
in art and our contributions to our community as our
Charter Members envisioned.
Happy painting and stay cool,
Celeste Williamson
